Reflection
& Application
Are
you presently experiencing difficulties, trouble, or suffering?
If you aren't now, you certainly will in the future. How will
you handle it? What are you trusting in? Will you need help?
The Bible says, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present
help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). Have you entered into
a relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ?
As a Christian, how do you respond to the trials in your life?
Periodically review and reflect on James 1:2-8, and "consider,"
"let have," and "ask." Remember the promise
in verse 12.
Where do you go for "wisdom?" Remember that God
is the source of wisdom. Continually ask God for wisdom, with
an attitude of trust and commitment, and apply God's wisdom
to your daily life.
